Rockin Paws: Spike

Last Rockin Paws we talked about it being ‘kitten season’, but it’s also puppy season too! Shelters across the country are being over whelmed with puppies and TRAIN (Team Rescuing Animals In Need) is no exception to that. We just picked up a couple of litters, including one with 10 puppies, that are all in the process of receiving their vaccines and vetting and we hope to have them available soon. If a puppy is what you want, then keep watching because they are in abundance right now and right here in central Illinois.

Say hello to Spike! He’s one of current foster babies who is available now and ready for his forever home. Spike is an adorable brindle, four month old puppy. He is happy to meet other dogs and people. He enjoys running & chasing other dogs around the yard, but also calms down pretty easily once inside. In typical puppy fashion Spike enjoys hard chew toys, squeaky balls, and is definitely a snuggler.

If you would like to know more and see Spike in action you can also view our Rockin Paws Video on our Facebook Page.
