SO….Nickelback have their new album out. They have their second single out as well, titled “Must Be Nice”, which has blazing guitars, sing along choruses, and lyrics that tie in nursery children’s rhymes, and Chad Kroeger’s typical wise ass attitude and swagger. The song absolutely has great guitar work, and is instantly catchy. However, it is also a bit cheesy with the lyrics, and it almost has a country music foot stompin’ vibe to it.

Well, Friday on the Morning X, I decided to let you X Rockers here in Peoria and Central Illinois make the call on this one. Thus far, the response has been generally positive and thumbs up. However, the “haters” of Nickelback are still quite vocal as well. I’m gauging the response on the new song, and just truly want your unvarnished opinion on this new tune. I think the ‘hate’ of these guys has been overblown somewhat, let’s be honest, it’s just too easy and fun to make fun of Nickelback. Chad Kroeger’s mouth doesn’t help at times, especially with this latest rant on Stone Sour. Regardless, it’s a democracy here on the X, so, your vote counts! Do you want to hear this new Nickelback?
