Duff McKagen might be one of the coolest guys in Rock. An acclaimed bass player for Gun N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver, an author, a motivational guy, a solo artist, and one of Rock’s most personal and honest personalities, he’s a great guy, and a survivor of addiction. In the last few days, there has been speculation about Guns N’ Roses recording new music with the original “three”, which is Duff, Axl Rose and of course Slash. Slash hinted strongly in recent weeks that the band is up to something. Axl has been his typical quiet self.

However, Duff more or less let the cat out of the bag with a recent interview with Eddie Trunk. Duff had the following to say about future Guns N’ Roses music. “Oh, it’s real, but the fun part and the cool part about Guns N’ Roses is we don’t really talk about it, and what happens next just happens. It’s never been that band that there’s a direct schedule of how we do things. “I’ve heard some magnificent stuff that Axl has… really cool stuff he’s been working on, so I’m excited about the possibilities with that, of course. I don’t mean to get anybody rabid. (A new album) will happen when it happens, that’s for sure.”

Well, there you have it. New Guns N’ Roses is happening. Exciting times. We will keep you updated here on the Morning X!
