Ready for the return of Slipknot?? I would think that you are getting excited for anything these guys unleash at this point in their epic career. Corey Taylor, front man and leader of Slipknot, recently spoke with ‘Resurrection Fest TV’ about their plans for 2019. Corey said the following-“Next year is a big year for Slipknot. We’re definitely thinking about a big world tour…..a new album absolutely, probably Summer. It all depends when we get in the studio.” Corey continued, “Right now, we have 20 songs we’ve demoed. And they are really, really good.”

Hearing that from Corey, who is the overall emotional and spiritual leader of Slipknot is a great thing. The band has been through just about everything a band can go thru in the last 20 years. Loss of a best friend and band mate, internal squabbles, other band commitments, health issues, you name it. These guys are in their 40’s and older, so, getting them to commit to Slipknot at this point is downright awesome and amazing. Here at the X, we are beyond excited. Let’s tee it up, boys! See you in 2019!
