I grew up in the tiny town of Cambridge, Minnesota before becoming your resident rock goddess at 105.7 the X. First and foremost, I LOVE music! Everything from 80s Madonna to hair metal and everything in between. I’m a rocker at heart, and some of my favorite bands are Incubus, 30 Seconds to Mars (Ummmm…Jared Leto…so yummy….sorry, I just got distracted), Linkin Park, Sevendust, Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine, Halestorm, Stone Sour, Foo Fighters and Three Days Grace. If I could have dinner with any three people, I would choose Kurt Cobain (because, duh); my #1 girl crush, Sarah Michelle Gellar (I am OBSESSED with Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and my sister.

Besides music, I’m super passionate about working out. Whether it’s running marathons or kicking ass in CrossFit, I love pushing myself and never turn down a challenge. I even use running as a way to support the cause that’s closest to my heart – St. Jude – by running in the St. Jude Chicago to Peoria Run every year. As a cancer survivor myself, I want to educate others and give back as much as I can! I’m also a die-hard St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Vikings fan. And tattoos? Yes, please. I love a man with ink, and I have quite the collection of my own. Maybe I’ll even show them to you sometime. If you’re lucky. 😉

Three things that you won’t believe about me are:

  1. I have stage fright! I’m fine in the studio behind the mic but hate being on stage in front of a crowd.
  2. I am really shy until you get to know me. After that, all bets are off, so watch out. You’ve been warned.
  3. I. Hate. Chocolate.
