This week in the St. Jude Spotlight on air and online I’m talking with Dunlap native and graduate Beth Stewart who is currently a Research Assistant in Oncology at St. Jude in Memphis. Beth was very interesting to talk with because she grew up knowing about St. Jude because of family friends who had a child being treated at St. Jude. She grew up always wanting to be a pediatric oncologist at St. Jude and has also moved onto the other side of the fence into the research side. Basically she is working on the front-line and behind the scenes when it comes to the fight against childhood cancer.
Stewart also happens to be a St. Jude runner as well, participating in the Memphis to Peoria run.
