Pearl Jam’s first new studio track in four years has hit the web and they give this country cover an awesome new grunge/punk spin!
The tune is “Again Today,” and appears on Cover Stories: Brandi Carlile Celebrates 10 Years of the Story – An Album to Benefit War Child, you can take a listen below and it’s also streaming on YouTube . The track includes Carlile on backing vocals. Her full album is due out May 5th and features a diverse group of artists from Adele, to Dolly Parton, My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, Kris Kristofferson to name a few. Barack Obama also wrote the foreword for the record. All proceeds from Cover Stories will benefit War Child UK, an organization that aims to protect and educate children in war-torn countries.
This is Pearl Jam’s first new studio track since Lightning Bolt was released in October 2013. (They did release a cover of Free’s “Wishing Well” on their 2015 holiday single, but the track was recorded in 1991.)
