Last week in the Cage Match I threw in the new Metallica and as ZERO surprise it kicked Green Day right in the balls, I thought I could bring it back but honestly I have feeling it will do the same to whoever or whatever it’s up against. Not, that I’m opposed to witnessing good ball smashing sessions but I’m not a fan of the “easy” sell. With that, I bring two different bands, the score is zero, let’s see who goes to hero.
Pop Evil are no strangers to Peoria, come on now they’ve only been here like a hundred times, if you haven’t seen them then honestly youre missing out. They know how to put on a good live show and are a super great bunch of guys. Up is the fourth studio album from them and was released last year on August 21st (FYI that’s my birthday you missed it but you can still by me a present). “Take It All” is the tune I’m featuring today, its their latest single and the official video takes advantage of YouTube’s 360 degree video capability, it’s pretty cool, and it was shot at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California last October.
Now the contender! Trice is a band based out of Irvine, California, they formed in 1998 and on May 27th of this year they released their ninth studio album, To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere. The only song to be released from the album is the tune you’re about to hear, “Black Honey”. Before you listen on last cool tid bit of information, each album released by Thrice has had a portion of its sales proceeds donated to a new charitable organization.
