Billy Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tre’-Cool are Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame members. They have won Grammy’s, sold over 100 million albums world wide, sold out stadiums arena’s world wide, had their own Broadway play, and released perhaps the best Rock album of the 2000’s, “American Idiot.” Today, on the X, Green Day returns! We will once again be proud to spin their brand new single, “Bang Bang.”
Gren Day will be touring the planet later this year, and likely all of next. Rumor has it that the band has gone back to basics with this new album, can we say, ‘Dookie?’ anyone? These guys are the masters of the three chord power punk anthem, and this new song is going right back to their basics. Even though they are in their 40’s, you can never count out Green Day, it’s nice to have them back! Now, how about a show in Peoria soon?
