When Pokemon Go came out I had no intention of downloading it. I thought that my Pokemon days were in the past and that’s where they belonged. But I can now admit that I have a full fledged addiction. My roommates boyfriend came home from work last night and was talking about how everyone at work was playing it. They were all running to the back to catch various Pokemon and the more he talked about it the more I wanted to play it. Sooo we all downloaded it. After spending 20 minutes trying to come up with an awesome username we was off and running, literally.
I started by catching a Charmander followed quickly by a Zubat while I was waiting rather impatiently for everyone else to finish downloading the game. We went for a walk and caught a bunch more Pokemon including an Eevee which was really exciting because it has been my favorite Pokemon since I was 10 years old, it’s just so damn CUTE! But there is one thing that I just don’t understand.
How the hell do you find the nearby Pokemon? It shows you what Pokemon are near you in color if you already have them in your Pokedex or just a shape if you haven’t caught that Pokemon before but it doesn’t tell you where to go or how far they are! I know their around, I know there close(ish) but I can’t find them. How am I supposed to catch them all if I can’t find them!
I suppose that’s the point though cause if I have to keep searching then I have to keep playing and that’s what they want. I bet this is all part of the plan.
