Shark Week is here! This is my favorite week of the summer and I’m pretty much glued to my TV every single night. Nothing else matters on TV, if there is something I want to watch the DVR can catch it, but Shark Week is priority number one! Shark Week kicked off yesterday and this year they have 16 new specials (click the bolded shark week for more info), Blake Lively (Mrs. Ryan Reynolds) has a new movie out this week-The Shallows and it coincides with the Discovery channel special week special. The movie is about a giant man eating shark and comes out on Wednesday. To top it off 7-Eleven is releasing a Slurpee flavored doughnut! The ocean-themed doughnuts have blue-raspberry Slurpee flavored icing topped with blue sugar crystals. When you thought it couldn’t get any better the boys over at Brobible have created a Shark Week drinking game and here it is below…
- Drink every time a narrator uses the phrase “feeding frenzy.”
- Drink any time someone uses some variation of “That’s a big shark” or “That’s a big fish.”
- Drink anytime someone says a variation of the phrase “We’re gonna need a bigger (boat, cage, camera).”
- Drink anytime the phrase “brush with death” is uttered.
- Drink when someone screams out “Whoa!”
- Begin drinking whenever a great white shark leaps out of the water, and don’t stop until it is all the way back in the water.
- Drink every time you hear an Australian or South African accent.
- Drink when someone gives advice on how to survive a shark attack.
- Drink every time chum is used to attract sharks.
- Drink every time the camera shows a surfboard with a bite taken out of it.
- Drink every time a “crunch” sound effect is used to ramp up the drama of a shark bite.
- Drink every time someone is referred to as a “shark expert.”
- Drink every time there’s a overly-dramatic reenactment of a shark attack.
- Drink every time the iconic movie “Jaws” is mentioned.
- Drink when anyone gets submerged in a steel diving cage.
- Drink every time a Facebook friend posts a #sharkweek status on Facebook or Twitter.
