105.7 The X is proud to have teamed up with the TAPS, the Tazewell Animal Protective Society, to help find loving homes for the area’s homeless dogs, cats, puppies and kittens! For 2016 I’ve decided I wanted to change it up a bit and feature both a dog and cat that are looking for forever homes.

Say hello to sweet Pebbles. She’s a 1 year old girl who knows sit and down and is treat motivated. She’s calm and loves to go to off-site and is a favorite of all who meet her — she deserves a loving home and you will be happy to have her!!!! Look at that smile…how can you resist?
We just can figure out why this gorgeous girl keeps getting overlooked. Patty has been at TAPS since August of 2015. Maybe it is because she is a bit quieter than some of the others so she does not draw attention to herself. She prefers quiet conversation and a soft pet rather than a brisk run around the room. She’s about 5 years old and is a total lap cat so if that’s what you want Patty is your girl, go see her at TAPS today.

Attention Foster Wanna Be’s…TAPS NEEDS YOU! It is the beginning of puppy and kitten season and TAPS is in desperate need of foster homes willing to take on bottle babies or mamas and their babies. If you’ve ever thought about fostering, please apply now so they can have you pre-approved when you’re needed. To become a foster you can pick up an application at the shelter or they can mail you one. TAPS covers all expenses and provides all supplies…all you provide is the time and love it takes to raise a bottle baby or mama and babies. Plus they have lots of senior animals that need foster homes too. Please consider fostering today!
