Disturbed played their cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence” live for the first time when they kicked off their tour in Fargo, North Dakota. The band was joined by a couple of violin players for the performance, which you can watch on YouTube or below. They will be making a stop near us at the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield on April 26th. Just announced yesterday Disturbed, Slipknot and Rammstein are the headline bands at a new hard rock festival this summer called the Chicago Open Air Festival. The three day event is set for July 15th through the 17th at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Illinois. Tickets are on sale now. They will headline the event on July 16th along with Korn, Breaking Benjamin, Pop Evil, Helmet, Nothing More and Saint Asonia.
