The Music Matters campaign has been a staple here on the Morning X for the last ten years. Students from all walks of life here in the Peoria area getting a chance to own a new guitar, drum set, or bass guitar. Music Matters is designed to help students in need, whether that’s financial, health related, whatever. Our students this year, Lorena, Paige, and Duncan all had different stories, but all of them touched us, and their families were all amazing, caring enough to submit letters so they can learn music, and improve their lives.
This past Saturday, we surprised all three students at Flores Music in Peoria. All three were completely wowed, and even brought to tears. With these new instruments, hopefully all three can learn something new, and give them another opportunity in life.
