Poor Nickelback, these Canadian rockers just can’t seem to get a break. First, it was the brutal critique of their music by critics and other bands, like Black Keys and others. Hipsters with skinny jeans and man buns don’t like these guys. Their blend of ‘Mom-Rock’ and pop-rock ballads apparently has gone too far in the last decade. Add in getting booed at the Lions halftime game three years ago, and there you go.
Well, now there is a new app that plays Nickelback songs, IF you try to contact your ex! Yep, it’s titled “Nickelblock”, and their songs immediately start playing if you start creeping on your ex’s Facebook page, or try to text them at 3in the morning drunk.
