Powerful. Melodic. Catchy as hell. Driven. Bad ass. Lots of guitars, soaring vocals. Yep, we have found yet another kick ass band, this time, from Akron, Ohio. ‘Red Sun Rising’ are Ohio boys, who love the Midwest as well, and are led by singer and guitarist Mike Protich, and guitarist Ryan Williams. They started this band in 2007, and have released two independent albums, but this year, after signing with ‘Razor and Tie’ Records, they are off and running with their first real debut, ‘Polyester Zeal’, and their first single, “The Otherside.”
