Well, if you are a fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, you are going to love to hear this news. Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer, Chad Smith, the rabid and bad-ass drummer of the band since 1988, has confirmed what most fans of the band were wishing-that new music with core guitarist John Frusciante is on the way! Chad was interviewed by Rolling Stone Magazine this week at his art showcase, where he was asked about the band, and their future. “I was given strict orders for this interview. DON’ TALK ABOUT THE BAND. But yes, John is back in the band, and everyone knows that. We’re psyched”, Chad told Rolling Stone. He continued-“The festivals are the only shows booked. For now, we’ll mostly be concentrating on new songs and writing a new record. We’re all excited to make new music.”

Obviously, HUGE news for all Peppers fans. Frusciante is the core guitarist for the band and played on all of their multi-platinum albums, “Mother’s Milk”, “Blood Sugar Sex Magick”, “Californication”, “By The Way”, and “Stadium Arcadium.” Hopefully, a new album this year? Fingers Crossed!
