So, the first time I heard the guys in DIRTY HONEY, I was immediately thrown back to a sound from yesteryear. This young, aggressive, Rock unit from the city of Angels, Los Angeles, is bringing back that sound from the 1970’s and 1980’s. Straight ahead hard rock. Guitars, drums, bass, and one amazingly talented singer who can wail with the best of them. The band, who consists of singer Marc Labelle, guitarist John Notto, bassist Justin Smolian, and drummer Corey Coverstone, are turning heads in the world of Rock and Rock radio. I friggin’ love these guys.

They’ve been out touring like madmen, and their new single, titled “When I’m Gone”, comes right at you, and you get a kick to the balls in the process. Hard. Rock. No excuses. No tricks, just Rock!

DIRTY HONEY and their sound is straight ahead All-American Hard Rock, with obvious influences of English Rock along the way. It’s as if Led Zeppelin had a love child with Tesla, these guys are just bad-ass. So, you have them FIRST, here, on the X! Crank em’ up, loud and proud!
