Slash has been one busy Dude. He’s been on the road with the reunited Guns N’ Roses for the last two years plus, recorded a new Slash and Myles Kennedy album, has a tour lined up with Myles, will tour with Guns AGAIN this Fall, and now, has just released details that he will indeed record new music with his band mates in the reunited Guns N’ Roses. Say what? Yep, there’s been plenty of speculation and hints that this was going to happen. Slash revealed details with an interview in Chile in the last few days, where he said the following, about recording new music, “after a small tour in October. There’s been so much talk about this Guns N’ Roses record, which we haven’t actually done anything with. So we’re gonna sort of focus on that.”

Great news for the purist Guns fan. How long will it take to record new music? Well, with these guys, that’s a huge question. Axl Rose has been known to take his sweet time with writing and recording. However, in the last three years, Axl has been motivated on just about every level with the Guns reunion. Hopefully, they work on the new music in diligent fashion. Are you excited for new Guns music??
