Thursday night POD, Islander, and Ded graced the stage at The Castle Theatre in Bloomington. It’s always a great night when POD rolls through and it’s been a while since they’ve been in Central Illinois. Opening up first, we had up-and-comers Ded, who have played the area a few times in the past year or so. Their heavy and profanity-laced set was awesome and got the crowd ready for more. Next up was Islander, who you should definitely keep an eye on. Between showering the crowd with water and their singer tossing his mic stand high into the air, they entertained!
Of course, the main event was POD playing their hits, both old and new. They are such a solid band and always put on a fantastic show. It was very cool seeing them in a more intimate setting like The Castle Theatre. They played through their slightly-over-an-hour long set, including hits like ‘Alive,’ ‘Boom,’ ‘Youth of the Nation,’ and more. Check out the photos and relive your night or pretend like you were there, even if you weren’t! Until next time Xers!
