Work + Dog’s = Dreams do come true!
I’m so excited to announce that we have teamed up with SAMS-Stray Animal Midway Shelter for our pet of the week feature, now known as “Rockin Paws”. Each week we will try and update you on a dog or cat that is looking for a place to simply call home. Being a mom of a rescue I can tell you, they are the best animals. Stop thinking that you “can’t get a puppy” or that “there’s probably something wrong with them” because it’s simply not completely true.
Adoption is amazing because SAMS can match you with an animal that is perfect to your lifestyle. They know these pets and can tell you their personality, and needs. They can tell you if they are good with children, need a lot of exercise, are lazy bums and just want to snuggle all day and that’s something you can’t get from buying. You CAN find puppies, you CAN find kittens, you CAN find purebreds but most of all you are SAVING the life of a furry friend.
Today I want to introduce you to Nipper. Nipper was rescued by SAMS from a high kill shelter in TN and their poor dogs were kept to their pens unless they were adopted. Nipper was an owner surrender but the reason why is unknown, she is super friendly, knows some commands and is eager to give her love away. She weighs around 45 lbs and they think she is a husky/akita mix. She’s about 7 years old but don’t let that fool you, she has A LOT of energy and can sometimes be a bit of an escape artist so she will need a secure home. Nipper really just wants to be with people, could you be her people?
