Dave Grohl performed at the Acoustic 4 a Cure benefit in San Francisco as a substitut for the event’s co-founder, Metallica frontman James Hetfield and decided to play a new song that no one’s ever heard him do before.
Accompanying Grohl was his Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and keyboardist Rami Jaffee. The new tune is called “The Sky Is a Neighborhood” and you can hear it with the youtube video below. I’m not sure if he wrote it for the new Foo Fighters project or for something else but I like it, take a listen and tell me what you think.
