Well, another Lollapalooza is in the books, and this year, the festival celebrated their 25th Anniversary. Yep, hard to believe that twenty five years ago the tour launched, with Jane’s Addiction, Body Count, Living Colour, Nine Inch Nails and Siouxise And The Banshee’s leading the way. Wow. Fast forward to 2016, where names like Chris Stapleton and Nothing But Thieves played live sets to hundreds of thousands.
Well, this past Saturday, Jane’s Addiction, and Perry Farrell in particular, were back in form, as they stormed the stage at Grant Park in Chicago. What was different? Well, one Tom Morello, guitar genius, Rage Against The Machine leader, and current ‘Prophets Of Rage’ bad ass, played live with Jane’s. The result, one kick ass version of a Jane’s classic.
