So, it wasn’t a ‘April Fool’s’ joke after all. Yep, it’s official, and it really went down this past Friday night. Guns N’ Roses returned with much fanfare, at the ‘Troubador’ club in West Hollywood, their early stomping ground when they started in the mid 1980’s. This was the first time they played together in more than 22 years. The band also announced their Summer tour dates, which has a July 1st date at Soldier Field in Chicago. Tickets are on sale this Friday.
The ‘Troubador’ show featured the band in solid form, as they tore through all of their core library of songs. Axl Rose sounded good overall, and the band sounded tight. There were an assortment of celebrities on hand as well, everyone from Jim Carrey, Nicolas Cage, Bradley Cooper, to Lenny Kravitz and Kate Hudson. Attached is some video from this past Friday! Welcome BACK to the Jungle, boys!
