2016 continues to get better as the year goes on. Between all the amazing concert announcements and movie trailers, this year is looking to be amazing in several different ways.
I know that I did post about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles yesterday, but when they released this leaked trailer for a new game due out this summer, I couldn’t help myself. I introduce you to TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan. I am very excited to have a new age game to dive into later this year. While there is nothing wrong with Turtles In TIme for SNES, it will be nice to play on a current system.
I have not forgotten about the digital game, TMNT: Out of the Shadows. The game was delayed for PS3 which was very frustrating, but almost worth the wait. The was difficult and very glitchy. Even though Out Of The Shadows shares a name with the upcoming movie, the game and movie have nothing to do with each other.
The same appears to be true with the upcoming movie and Mutants in Manhattan. The movie is out on June 3rd, while the upcoming video game is just listed to be released Summer 2016. They do share common themes as Bebop and Rocksteady are featured in both which is fair as they are big parts of the series. I just don’t want to see a movie based video game. History has shown that they never turn out well. If I get all of my wishes, the movie and the video game will be released separate from each other. We should find out more information tomorrow as Activision and Platinum Games should be releasing a statement.
With my inner child exploding, enjoy the trailer below while I set aside $60 for this game.
