As it is October, everyone is lining up to go to haunted houses. Don’t forget there are new horror movies being released in honor of Halloween. This weekend you can enjoy Crimson Peak in IMAX at Carmike Cinemas Grand Prairie 18. Tonight you can enjoy see the movie in IMAX at 8pm, with regularly scheduled show times starting tomorrow. We will be at Carmike Cinemas this Saturday from 4 pm to 6pm, so make sure you come out to enjoy the new movie.
After checking out the trailer, this isn’t your typical slasher that you watch this time of year. Yes, the movie is set in a creepy old house, with something hiding in the basement. There lies the mystery. What is on the lower level and why does Mia Wasikowska‘s character get drawn to it? You will also notice that Loki from Thor, Tom Hiddleston is also featured. He was so good as Loki, I am interested to his take on this role. Here is the full synopsis:
When her heart is stolen by a seductive stranger, a young woman is swept away to a house atop a mountain of blood-red clay: a place filled with secrets that will haunt her forever. Between desire and darkness, between mystery and madness, lies the truth behind Crimson Peak.
From the imagination of director Guillermo del Toro comes a supernatural mystery starring Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska and Charlie Hunnam.
Check out the trailer below, and make plans to see Crimson Peak this weekend at Carmike Cinemas.
