Jim Breuer, one of the top 100 ‘Best Comedians of all time’, according to Comedy Central, is on his way back to Peoria. This coming Wednesday night at the Limelight Eventplex, in Peoria, Breuer will take the stage with a boat load of new material, and new observations of his life, twenty years after he stormed the scene as ‘Goat Boy’ on SNL, and twenty years after ‘Half Baked.’
Breuer is perhaps the ‘best’ ‘Stoner’ comedian out there these days, now that Cheech and Chong are virtually retired. Breuer played that ‘hippy meets baked idiot’ guy quite well, just think ‘Half Baked’, and he pretty much owned that character. Breuer is also a ‘Metal’ guy. His impersonations of Brian Johnson and James Hetfield of Metallica and AC/DC is legendary, and he will likely throw some of that humor out this Wednesday night.
