The Foo Fighters returned to London over the weekend as one of three make-up shows for dates postponed when Dave Grohl broke his leg in Sweden earlier this summer. The return was special, to say the least.
Saturday at the Milton Keynes Bowl (which would have been Freddie Mercury’s 69th birthday) frontman Dave Grohl invited Queen drummer Roger Taylor and former Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones, to join them in a rendition of “Under Pressure”, a song the Foos have done on their Sonic Highways tour. Grohl referred to the guest appearances as a “Super duper group”, check out the video of the performance below.
The Foos will be back in North America starting Friday in Vancouver, Canada.
