Should The X Bring Texas Hippie Coalition to Peoria?

Texas Hippie Coalition is one loud, large metal act from Chickasa, Texas. 'Big Dad Rich', Randy Cooper and John Exall met in Denison, Texas, a quaint small town outside Dallas. The band has been around for the last five years, and is starting to make some waves in the heavy metal world. Their new song, "Turn It Up" has been releasd, and is full of metal riffs and swagger. This band is a marriage of varying styles of rock and metal. Think Pantera meets Black Label Society, meets ZZ-Top and Waylon Jennings.

In the last few weeks, we have been plenty of calls clamoring for this band to be played on the X. These guys are registering with the Central Illinois rock and metal fans. I love the attitude of this band. The riffs are amazing, loud, intense, and in your face. The lead singer, 'Big Dad Rich' leaves quite the impression on you. In their videos, he commands your attention, and beats his chest and screams out a unique raging growl that is completely entertaining. So, the most obvious question is this, should we bring these bad boys to Peoria? Do you want to rock with these Texas boys? Check out this video, and spend some time with these guys. Let me know your thoughts....Texas Hippie Coalition, y'all!
