Now that the Honda Civic Tour has wrapped up with Linkin Park, Incubus are taking another hiatus. Although frontman Brandon Boyd hopes to do another solo album by no means does this mean the end of Incubus (as Anna Kinkade lets out a huge sigh of relief). The band has always been know to take time off after an album and touring, in fact before their last album "If Not Now, When" the band was on a five year break. This one hopes to be smaller.
In lieu of the break the band will be put out another greatest hits compilation package. The first "Monuments And Melodies" was released back in 2009 and featured hits from "Make Yourself", "Morning View", "A Crow Left of the Murder" and "Light Grenades".
"Essential Incubus" will be released on October 30th and also feature your old favorites such as "Drive", "Pardon Me", "Megalomanic", "Wish You Were Here" but will also have something that wasn't on the first and that's songs from the bands first studio release "S.C.I.E.N.C.E" along with favorites “Anna Molly,” “Love Hurts,” and also “Make a Move” from the 2005 Stealth movie soundtrack. In total the two-disk set will features 28 songs from the band.
Here is the track list:
CD One "Version" "A Certain Shade of Green" "Redefine" "New Skin" "Summer Romance (Anti-Gravity Love Song)" "Pardon Me" "Stellar" "Drive" "Crowded Elevator" "Wish You Were Here" "Nice to Know You" "Warning" "Are You In?" "Circles"
CD Two "Megalomaniac" "Talk Shows on Mute" "Agoraphobia" "Monuments and Melodies" "Pantomime" "Make a Move" "Anna Molly" "Dig" "Oil and Water" "Love Hurts" "Black Heart Inertia" "Adolescents" "Promises, Promises" "In the Company of Wolves"
