Foxy Shazam Set To 'Wow' The Castle Theater Tonight In Bloomington
5:54AM Tuesday
October 9, 2012

Cincinnatti, Ohio's Foxy Shazam has wowed audiences on stage for the last few years, and this past year, they have stepped up their antics and amazing stage presence on tour in support of their latest album, 'The Church Of Rock N' Roll.' For Central Illinois rockers who love the X, you know them for their hit, "I Like It." Yes, the song that is a tribute to wonderfully large asses. This new album is part rock opera, a tip of the hat to legendary bands like Queen, I hear a little David Bowie in there as well. Their name originated from a slang phrase used by students at vocalist Eric Sean Nally's high school, "Foxy Shazams", meant "cool shoes", as the phrase went, "those are some Foxy Shazams!"

Lead singer Eric Sean Nally is one amazing front man. He is outrageous on stage. Part Freddie Mercury, part Mick Jagger, with an operatic voice, and hyper active demeanor. You should not miss these guys tonight at the Castle in Bloomington. This is the perfect setting for this band. The Castle is awesome for many reasons. Up close, personal, you feel the sweat from the bands, and you can reach out and touch the artists while the slam home their sets. Foxy tonight will kick you in the ass, and celebrate the "Church Of Rock N' Roll", in the process. Get your asses out!
