Kid Rock has been a busy boy for the last twelve months. He has kept touring, made TV appearances, and all the while, been in his studio outside Detroit recording new music. Kid has done a masterful job of recruiting new fans in the last five years. Most of these fans are from the Country side of the fence. His new album is allegedly getting back to rock basics. We will see. I will be cranking up the new single from his new album, the single is titled, "Let's Ride", from the November 13th release of 'Rebel Soul.' 

Kid Rock, as you know, has rocked Central Illinois multiple times in the last decade. Just in the last two years, he has played the Peoria Civic Center and the 'Lou LaGrotto' Concert For A Cause this past June in La-Salle-Peru. Kid has taken many topics seriously, like the support of our troops, while keeping a keen eye on partying and supporting the wild lifestyle. His friendship and musical collaborations with country outlaw Jayme Johnson has also garnered him new fans. We will see how this new album sounds. For us X rockers, we need some guitar, bass and drums, and some hard rock attitude! Enough already on the 'Bob Seger' sound from the last album, and the tip of the hat to the 'Country' audience and sound. We want our Kid Rock back, full of swagger and rock attitude!
