Labor Day weekend is known as our “last weekend of summer” so let’s make it the best weekend ever!

Whatever your plans are this weekend, from one last weekend of boating on the river, pool parties, back yard BBQ’s, or maybe you’re going to finally get some of that indoor/outdoor house work finished! We have your soundtrack this weekend! First we kick off the weekend at 6pm on Friday with our ever popular ‘Resurrection Weekend playlist’, ya know 90’s, grunge, one hit wonders, 80’s flavor mixed in and more. This weekend we are not alone, we have a special guest host joining us!

Incubus was the highlight of my summer, Spring Fling weekend was amazing! All the bands rocked, the weather couldn’t have been any better and of course my all time favorite band killed the riverfront and kicked off summer. It’s only fitting the summer wraps the way it started, with Incubus!

Brandon Boyd will be taking over the Morning X on Labor Day beginning at 6am and playing his personal summer playlist until 10am. You’ll hear everything from Metallica to Foo Fighters, Imagine Dragons to Godsmack, Green Day, Linkin Park, Portugal. The Man, Beck, Red Hot Chili Peppers, bands they shared the Spring Fling stage with The Glorious Sons and Badflower and so many others and yes of course even Incubus and their brand new song Into The Summer (which I LOVE BTW).

Don’t forget to check the band out on their 20 Years Of Make Yourself + Beyond Tour this fall. Coming to Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom September 18th and the Stifel Theatre in St. Louis on November 14th.
