Alice In Chains will make history in Seattle on August 21st (tomorrow), when they become the first band ever to perform 500 feet above the city at the iconic “Space Needle.” The band will play on the new revolving glass floor of the Space Needle, which was just recently put in place with the 100 million renovation of the historic landmark. The band will perform on the ‘Loupe’, which offers  a 360 degree view of the city and the surrounding Pugent Sound. Alice In Chains are releasing their new album, ‘Rainier Fog’ this week on August 24th. This will be the first new album of material in five years. “I’ve visited the Space Needle many times in my life and it’s going to be a real honor and a total trip for us to play there”, Jerry Cantrell told the press. “We’re so proud of this album and to be able to celebrate it’s release with a performance at one of our town’s most iconic landmarks is really special.”

Alice In Chains will also be celebrated at Safeco Field today, as the Seattle Mariners are hosting “Alice In Chains Night.” We’re excited to have Alice back with a new album this year! Let’s Rock!
