Slash was recently interviewed by ‘Classic Rock’, where he was asked about Guns N’ Roses, and the band potentially recording new music. Apparently, Slash, Duff and Axl have discussed the possibility, as Slash explained. “I think everybody thinks it’s a good idea, and everybody would like to”, he continued. “There’s no shortage of ideas from everybody involved, but we’ve been so busy on the road, that there’s been no time to go in and sit down and go, “Okay, we’re going to make a record.” Slash has just released his new material with Myles Kennedy, and is planning a tour of his own for next year. Knowing how things work with Guns, any new material would likely be a year or more away.

To me, it doesn’t matter when they do it, it would be pretty epic if they did, as I think the core fans would be quite excited. It’s been since the 1990’s since Guns recorded new music with Slash, Axl, and Duff, let’s keep our fingers crossed!
