For those of you who have rocked with the X for the last decade know, the Sick Puppies were a band that we really enjoyed for multiple years. The band played our Nutcracker, Spring Fling, and even one of our “Kewaneestock!” shows in Kewanee, Illinois, a few years back. The former lead singer, write, and guitarist for the Puppies was Shimon Moore. Known simply as ‘Shim’, his stage presence, vocal skills, charm, and overall swagger was hard to forget. Shim was simply one of the most entertaining front guys and guitarists our there. He also wrote some pretty great songs and provided vocals on some huge songs, just think “You’re Going Down”, and “Maybe”, just to name a couple.

Well, fast forward to 2018. Shim has moved on from the Sick Puppies, and has released his first single, “Hallelujah”, from his first solo offering. Catchy as hell, with great lyrics and vocals, and one hilarious video, Shim Moore is BAAACK. Check out the new video and single, it’s pretty damn epic! Welcome back, Shim!
