Smashing Pumpkins are back in 2018. Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlain, the original three, minus bassist Darcy Wretzky, have announced a massive reunion tour, and have now recorded a new song. The band has announced a series of dates, many of which have sold out. Two dates in Chicago at United Center are both nearly sold out. In the last week, the band have unleashed a new single, and plan a new album to accompany the tour. The new song is titled “Solara”, and the band performed the song on the “Tonight Show”, with Fallon, and they released a lyric video to accompany. The song is a throw back to the original sound of the 1990’s, crunching grunge guitars, sing along vocals, with Corgan’s signature voice and sound. Check it out!
