The guys in the band THRICE have been at this ‘Rock N’ Roll’ thing since 1998. The band is from Irvine, California, and is led by guitarist and vocalist Dustin Kensrue. The band has released loads of albums, and are known for their rapid fire Rock, and sing along choruses. They are a band that plays many Festivals, like Coachella, to name one in particular. In the last year, they have released their 11th album, “Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere”, and their second single has really connected here as we kick off 2017.

The song “Black Honey” is a driving rocker, with grungy guitars and an a ‘easy on the ears’ vocal arrangement. Kensrue has a stand alone vocal ability, these guys don’t really sound like anybody, and this song is refreshing and fun. So, these guys prove one thing, you stay at it long enough, you can strike lightning and find yourself with a song that makes a huge splash. We will try and bring these California boys into Peoria sometime soon…..in the meantime, enjoy some “Black Honey” on your toast!
